| Photography Basics: | ||||||
| This module is a must for any first-time D-SLR user. Usually presented as part of the Free Training and Group Training courses, this module explains all the basic settings and functions which are generic to all D-SLR cameras, including the Autofocus system and the different AF modes, and the various settings which form part of the Exposure system of the camera, including Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO. This module can also be presented as an introduction to any One-On-One training course if required, or can be taken as a stand-alone course. |

| Free camera training: | ||||||
| This course is designed to help you to familiarise yourself with your new camera and all its functions. Presented in two parts, the course will enable you to understand the basics of photography with a D-SLR by firstly explaining the principles behind the different settings and why they are necessary (Module 1: Photography Basics as above) and then explaining the major functions of the camera (Module 2) so that you will be able to set your camera up the right way for the type of photography which you want to do. |

These courses are available for ALL our cameras, and are designed to help the discerning photographer to understand the camera’s functions better. Hands-on demonstrations of functions and detailed explanations will enable you to find out exactly what you need to know in order to enable you to use your camera to best advantage. Explanations of buttons and dials as well as the major menu items are provided. If necessary, the basic settings (Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO and Focus) can also be explained. Please note that, should you need the basic presentation (Module 1), you should indicate this when booking the course. |

| Basic Digital Photography: | ||||||
| This course takes you to the next level in your photographic journey. Designed to follow on from the camera training, the course commences with a short revision of camera functions at our Training Centre, followed by a practical workshop at an outdoor location, where the facilitators will demonstrate several advanced techniques which will enable you to take even better photos. |

| Flash Course: | ||||||
| Due to the advanced nature of the modern add-on flash systems, we have designed this course to show you the best way to use your external flash. Courses are model-specific and demonstrate basic principles of flash photography as well as the individual functions of the flash. Available for SB600, SB800 and SB900 models only. |

| Capture NX 2: | ||||||
| Capture NX2 is Nikon’s photo manipulation software, and a trial version of this software is supplied with each D-SLR sold. Users are encouraged to load the trial version and play around with it, and discover the unbelievable world of photo manipulation. This software is designed for professional use but is easy to understand and operate, making it accessible to amateur photographers as well. Once you have played with it and the bug has bit, you may attend the course and be taught how to use the software to its true potential. Especially useful and necessary when shooting in RAW format, this software makes editing and conversion very easy. Please bear in mind that the trial period is 60 days from when the software is installed on your hard drive, after which you will need to purchase a full version. |
